When is More Too Much?   What was once a rarity is now turning into a common occurrence.  More and more kids are developing chronic overuse injuries during sports.    According to Boston Children’s Hospital the number of kids showing up in doctor’s offices with overuse injuries, such as tendonitis, is climbing dramatically.    Nationally renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, said that he is seeing four times as many overuse injuries in youth sports than five years ago and more kids are having surgery for these chronic injuries.    CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE!   Coat Drive Update!     Did you see us on the YNN morning news? Wendy Mills came to Peak Performance to showcase our Physical Therapy Coat Drive for Kids Tuesday morning.   It was great to know that they were eager to help us spread the word and now we are calling on you to help us provide winter coats, hats and gloves for local East Rochester Children and Rochester City Teens in need.   Our Goal is 50 Coats...Can You Help Us?   So far we have received 10 coats and a small number of gloves and hats! We are hoping to meet our goal of 50 coats by the end of the month and as many hats and gloves as possible!   Please stop by and say hello and bring your new or gently used coats to donate to local children in need this winter.   Are You Having Pain Again?
