PLEASE JOIN US IN THANKING ERIN…
Erin has worked her last official day as a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance.  She’s moved on to a job in home health with Unity that will be a better fit for her family and her role as a Mom.

From the time I first met Erin as a patient herself, to becoming our very first receptionist at Peak Performance 10 years ago, and then now most recently as one of our full-time Physical Therapists she has proven herself to be a special person – a great blend of hard working, fun, so easy to get along with, diligent, responsible, professional, skilled, and a smile that lights up the room.

Join us in wishing Erin the best as she moves on.  I know her patients and the physicians that she served will miss her caring heart and high level of treatment she provided.   If you’d like to send Erin a note of Thanks or Well Wishes please bring or mail to us here at Peak Performance and we’ll make sure to pass it along to her.

Mike Napierala, Owner

Congrats go out to Mandy Napierala.  Yep…she’s a Peak Performance die hard all the way around:  she’s not only family (youngest daughter of Mike & Karen) but also has done Sports Performance training over the years here with small groups of basketball and volleyball players, trains with her Paradigm Volleyball Club teams here and at Hot Shots (Mike & Karen do Sports Training for the club), and unfortunately also has been a patient…for ankle sprains and most recently a stress fracture!  Whew – no need to be SOOO supportive of Peak PT Mandy…at least on the injury side of things!

Mandy just committed to a full athletic scholarship to Radford University in Virginia to play Division I volleyball as a Middle Hitter/Blocker.

ANOTHER GOLISANO PATIENT TAKES THE PRIZE!

            NCAA Hoops Savvy…Congrats Richard
You’ve gotta know these contests aren’t just about you patients right!  The PT’s remain in a heated battle over whose patients win the most contests for the year.   So far in 2015 Michael Golisano is in the lead over Mike Napierala , 2-1 (and he’s even suggesting that “win” for the left side of the room is really a Golisano victory since he treated Mike’s patient on the day he made the choice).  Sounds like a controversy to me. Here’s Richard accepting his Grand Prize, a gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods, after making the right call on the NCAA Basketball Championship.  He picked Kentucky to win and a point total of one point below the final score of 131 .  Looks like close is not only good in horseshoes but in Peak Performance contests. 50d45355-63d9-4ea7-a73b-8567f17c83d3.jpg   No cost to you…just some fun Make sure to join in next time we put the reminder out to make your choices at your visit or to just stop in and put up your pick on our contest board!  Present and past patients are welcome.  No cost competition!

I’M INJURED…
       I STILL CANT…
              IT STILL HURTS….

Now What?

The great news is that most injuries to your tendons, ligaments, and muscles are best treated without surgery.  Sooner or later you’re likely to end up at the doorstep of a Physical Therapist.
You don’t have to delay that process!

IF YOU’RE READING THIS and you have an injury that isn’t resolved, you still feel like you can’t do what you used to…your strength and power, explosiveness, mobility or control just aren’t there, or it’s just still hurting…reminding you daily that something is just NOT RIGHT – you should be seen for an evaluation so we can help identify what’s wrong and how to help you back to being yourself again.

The Physical Therapists at PEAK PERFORMANCE are skilled in testing how well your muscles and joints are performing, and identifying signs of injured tissues so that we can formulate a plan to help get you better.  No delays in actually doing something about your problem.  Empowered with making a difference yourself.  All-natural care.  No long lists of potential side-effects.  Based on the best available evidence for what works.  Personalized to you, your specific injury, and YOUR GOALS.

No rolling the dice on a Google search and prepared (canned) exercise lists that treat everyone the same.  No wondering if you’re doing the right exercises, doing them correctly, or spending your time wisely.  No guessing.  No being treated like “every other” ankle sprain or back pain that walks through the door.

CALL US AT 218-0240 TODAY TO SCHEDULE YOUR EVALUATION WITH ONE OF OUR PHYSICAL THERAPISTS.

We’re trained to identify any red flags that your injury might require further medical testing. We’ve developed relationships with trusted experts in the Rochester area when referrals to a specialist are called for, and also can discuss your case with your Primary Care physician on your behalf.
