Can it be true? Is there really some set of secret never before seen exercises or skill drills that are kept for only the very elite to ever see and do?

What if you could get your hands on them now? How good could you get!

Is that really the answer? Your Holy Grail of athletic superstardom.

And what about that entourage of people the pro’s have hired to be on their “team”…what role do they play in all this?

Well, I hate to break the shocking truth to you, but THERE ARE NO MAGIC DRILLS. Watching the PGA tour pro’s today on the practice range and out on the course just solidified more than ever the reality that a big part of that equation is just simply HARD WORK.

….

Isn’t that really true of any profession or job? If you put a lot into it you tend to get better. A young college coach recently said at a camp that you have to “Be patient and ‘Trust the Process’”. What awesome words of wisdom!

Trust the process. I guarantee that’s what the pro’s out on the golf course this week in Rochester have been doing. They still, to this day, continue working with PTs and trainers and coaches who have them fine tuning their body, their mind, and their game skills.

And it doesn’t happen overnight. There are no magic pills or drills. There’s no secret formula for success that only get’s shown to the pro’s in some hidden corner of the room when everyone is gone for the day.

Young athletes, to get better you’ve got to practice. Now it is key, to practice “well” and not just do random, unorganized, and independent sessions without a purpose. It’s been said that “Perfect practice makes perfect.” While we can’t ever truly be “perfect” we can strive to reduce the errors and inconsistencies.

Part of that requires knowing your body. The pro’s use a host of various health care professionals to help them break through the boundaries of being just another ordinary pro.

Who do you have on your team? Who do you use that understands function, that can assess your body’s shortcomings and figure out your needs?

PEAK PERFORMANCE is here to care for you like family and treat you like a pro. There is no MAGIC. It’s just finding the right people to help you, trusting the process, and working hard….real hard!
