  1. I have spent the last 20 years injured and with my body falling apart. Every time, Mike finds a way to fix me up. This time he was able to get me through a neck injury. With Mike’s help, I am back to 100%. I now have no excuse if he beats me on the golf course! Thanks, Mike. Lance Davis June 12, 2019
  2. Prior to Peak Performance, I was experiencing pain and tension in my upper back and neck. I had an overall tightness in my body, which is now a lot looser…I am able to comfortably sit and do work without having to stop due to tension. I look forward to continuing this journey to gain both strength and flexibility. Taylor M.
  3. I injured my neck/shoulder playing volleyball and for weeks had trouble sitting/standing, playing piano, sitting at work and driving…because my neck and arm were constantly sore. After a few weeks, I was able to sleep through the night again, sit at my desk and drive comfortably! Thanks, Allison, for helping me return to doing the things I love! Cynthia A. November 5, 2018
  4. Before starting PT with Karen, I had migraines for weeks and difficulty working and sleeping, along with pain while lifting, a stiff neck and shoulder, upper arm pain and reduced range of motion. After working with Karen, I have only slight pain when lifting heavy objects overhead. I’m enjoying improved balance, reduced pain in my neck and shoulder, and no migraines or pain in my upper arm! My range of motion is greater and I’ve got little to no pain; thanks, Karen! Christina C. September 12, 2018
  5. Before coming to Peak, I could hardly pull my bow back; now, after completing 10 weeks of PT, I can pull my bow back and keep it steady. I am now getting back into swimming (important for triathlons) and plan to get some golf in this summer. Thanks Mike! Donald L. May 11, 2018
  6. My experience here at Peak Performance working with Andrew has been terrific! At the beginning, I was in a lot of pain, had limited range of movement with my neck, and was having trouble sleeping and difficulty with some ADLs. I’ve learned strategies to deal with my neck issues, the physiology of movement to improve my pain, and doing ADLs. Although due to arthritis I’m not perfect, I’m much better and have good tools to deal with my issues. It’s been a very positive experience, and Andrew is an extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind teacher. Laurie C. May 9, 2018
  7. I started out with stiff neck and pain and numbness on my left side (neck and arm). Karen stretched out my neck and back each visit and that, coupled with cranial/sacral massages, relieved my discomfort. (Along with my PT exercises. J) I don’t experience numbness anymore! The secondary issue was with my left outside ankle-pain with walking on uneven surfaces. Bending and squatting became difficult due to extreme tightness in both of my ankles, particularly on my left. I have noticed marked improvement in my ability to bend and also an increase in better balance. Works in progress, but I believe the PT exercises will continue to help with my overall flexibility and balance. Erin S. April 5, 2018
  8. Mike has rehabbed and revitalized so many of my body parts that it would be easier to recount the parts remaining. I have conquered fractures, muscle tears, surgeries, and painful injuries up and down my spine. As a result, I’m now fully able to enjoy a normal and vigorous life. While the expertise and professionalism demonstrated by Mike, Karen and Andrew is off the charts, I have discovered that the mental and emotional aspects of rehab are every bit as essential to recovery as the physical aspects. The story of Peak Performance is above and beyond the technical metrics of physical therapy. The culture inside those four walls is a combination of contagious enthusiasm, totally positive attitudes, and endless encouragement. Thank you for your patience, your willingness to listen to my trials and tribulations, and becoming my best cheerleader. Sandy R. January 17, 2018
  9. I had difficulty turning my head to the right side while using my riding mower. Going over bumps caused shoulder and neck pain and joint cracking. Also, I experienced pain when I put my laptop bag on both shoulders. The right side was painful. Additionally, carrying a self-climbing tree stand was painful and sleeping was more limited due to shoulder pain. Now, I have no issues with turning to the right while mowing and going over bumps. I can carry the self-climbing tree stand with no issues. I can carry my laptop pack on both shoulders with no pain on my right shoulder. The stretches and exercises have really helped. Thanks! Jeffrey B. October 16, 2017
  10. I was in an accident that caused whiplash and constant pain in my neck and shoulder. This was causing me so much pain at work as a hairdresser, I was having trouble focusing on work through the pain and fatigue. I was referred to Peak Performance by a good friend, and came to see Andrew. Through his instruction and exercises, slowly I regained my strength and now I have little to no pain. Thanks so much! Victoria H. September 14, 2017
  11. As we Rochesterians recovered from the 2017 wind storm, I took a controlled fall in the snow storm that followed. That fall did not feel bad until the next day, when my right hip and neck hurt. I met up with Karen and Mike the following Sunday and they had me in the next day! In less than six sessions, Karen has cut my pain level from a 10 to a 2. Now in mid-April, I am pain free and knowledgeable of stretches and exercises to keep me pain free. Thank you, Karen and Mike! Sean F.
  12. This is my second time working with Andrew at Peak Performance. When I started this round of PT, my neck and wrist were painful every day and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to go on my hiking trip to New Zealand. After a month and a half with Andrew and faithfully doing my exercises, I was pain free and much fitter than when I started. As a result, I was able to do a 13-mile hike, whitewater rafting and mountain biking. Thanks to Andrew, I was able to enjoy every minute of my New Zealand adventure and plan to do more in the future. I am very grateful for the help Andrew and Peak Performance gave me so I could pursue a more active life. Andrea R. April 4, 2017
  13. After a car accident, I came to Peak Performance for back and neck pain. I was unable to sit without pain or even drive comfortably. After two months of PT with Andrew, I am able to go back to my day-to-day activities without any pain. I am looking forward to getting back to the gym and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and our granddaughter running around. Thank you, Andrew, for teaching me daily strengthening to help me increase my movement and quality of life. J Jeanette B.
  14. I came to Peak Performance with severe back, neck and arm pain due to a lower strain that settled in my upper right side. With 2-3 visits per week over 2 months, the pain is almost completely gone. I am exercising an hour a day, in addition to the stretching and strengthening exercise program Andrew developed. Thank you, Andrew, for your very professional treatment. It was a pleasure to work with you! Cathy L. December 30, 2016
  15. I had neck and upper trap pain from poor posture and alignment from working out. I was unable to do overhead weight lifting, rowing, and had trouble sleeping. With Andrew’s help, I’m now on the road to recovery and back at rowing 3K’s without any issue. Thanks Andrew! Ellen Baily
